The Art of Balancing
I look quite balanced don't I in these pictures? Well don't be fooled. Balance is a fleeting state. Truly, all one can do is to continually practice the 'art of balancing'. I work at it every day. I practice it a lot in my kitchen. There is so much that can throw your system (spirit, mind and body) out of equilibrium. The 4 F's for example: food, family, friends and finances. I find that baking and food preparation is a powerful root of doing that can positively impact the quality of balance in all other facets of my life. Well it starts by a simple fact...food is essential to a balanced diet. A balanced diet sustains the body making fun and challenging physical activities possible. Food brings family and friends together to socialize. Nourishing those relationships stimulates the mind and the spirit of love and giving to others.
